After a long winter spent mostly alone in my cold barn studio, I am excited to be back in the spring wood fire season. While I am happy to be outside firing the kilns, I am more pleased to be working with my friends again. I am grateful to be a part of the amazing clay community in area.
We just finished the first firing of the year at Mark Goertzen’s kiln in Constantine, MI this past weekend. The firing progressed well, and we are optimistic for some fantastic pots. We will be unloading the kiln on Saturday, April 18. I hope to have a lot of new works cleaned up and ready to purchase on my etsy shop by the end of the month.
