In August of 2012, we moved to our new home in Goshen, IN. After a few weeks of cleaning and building, I converted the barn into the home studio and started making pots. It was a pretty lean space when I first began, with just a few tables and used wheels and kiln.
Over the past few years, we have added a number of new pieces of equipment and the studio is now a completely functioning space. It isn’t quite as clean as it was in 2012, but it sure is much easier to work. Additional wheels and equipment have made my making process far more efficient and also allowed my product line to evolve in a number of different directions. It has been a wonderful experience to have the studio just steps from our house.
